Camp Bentzon

On Tuesday some of the year 6’s went to year 6 camp to Kawau Island, first we went with a bus and we went with a big cool Ferry some of us has not even ridden a Ferry before, where do you think we will go next for our Camp.

On Tuesday the year 6’s went to a Camp called camp Bentzon first we had to carry the luggage we didn't even get to put our own luggage inside the bus when, that was all done we all had to go inside the bus and off we go to Kawau island it took us a long time to get to sand spits dock finally around 1 or 2 hours we were finally at the sand spits dock, after that the Ferry, came and picked us up to go to Kawau Island it took us around like 1 or maybe 2 hours to get to kawau island and Camp Bentzon we were all tired and very sleepy we finally got to Camp Bentzon the first thing we had to do was to get all of the luggage’s and put it near the Camp Bentzon dock, when that was done we all had to sit down and Mr Goodwin told us all of the rules and to be careful of the wekas, wekas are birds.

After all of the rules we all had to hike Killer Hill, Killer Hill is the the longest path to hike it is sometimes slippery and wet when it rains it was so long some of us falls down and slip some of the people had a rest and drank some of their water from their water bottles, we were all exhausted and very tired when the walk was done we all get to eat to 2 biscuits and a soft juicy apple’s after that we all get to have free time we all went to our cabins and a little nap I felt so happy that I get to have a litle time to have a sleep that was the best part on the first day of Camp Bentzon.

I would love to Thank the cooking lady that had made the food for us at Camp Bentzon and I also want to thank Tina for looking after us very well.

The things that I learned was having fun and going to camp is very fun and awesome.

Rozaidah Kawau Story Starters

Once upon a time, there was a island called Kawau island, on the island there was a spooky mansion house. Inside the mansion was a old box full of letters. One of the letters said WHAT YOU WILL SEEK WHAT YOU WILL FIND, it also said beware of a spooky house.

There was a group called the ghost catchers, there group only had 5 people , there names were Nick, Katie, James, Lizzy and Olivia, there were only 2 boys and 3 girls, they went off hiking to go to the mansion house, when they finally got there they were so surprised, because outside of the house was perfect and very clean, Katie knocked on the door but the door opened by it self she got very spooked out, they all went inside the house they sawed a box there were 2 letters in it, one of the letters said, WHAT YOU SEEK MAY YOU FIND, the other letter said FIND A KEY AND YOU MAY LOCK ME FREE.

The group went out to find the key they saw a map, Lizzy said let’s follow this map Olivia said I’m not that sure the boys said come on let’s just follow the map, so they all followed the map. The map said next to an apple tree you will find a box of keys, the other map said you will go across a old swamp look under a big rock there will be a box full of a real key and a fake key, they each said let's start with the first key, they tried to open the door but the first key didn’t work so they tried the other key and that key finally worked, they all went inside and saw a ghost the ghost was making loud noises they all got  shocked, by the ghost THE END.

Letter To Miss Szymanik

Letter to Miss Szymanik.

I am writing a letter to my teacher she was my year 6 teacher in term 1 and 2 she was nice and kind to us. Miss Szymanik was very kind to room 6 she let us watch videos on netflix when it rains, everyday she will do a riddle contest if someone finds the answer you have to write the answer on a piece of paper and put it in a box miss szymanik will pick 1 or 3 names from the box and who ever gots the answer right they win a prize.

But sometimes if we don’t listen she will get very mad and angry but she yells at the boys most then the girls, because the boys are always noisy and naughty but the girls are always calm and listening to Miss Szymanik.

But Miss Szymanik left in the last day of term 2 because she is going somewhere else so she is not coming back the whole school made her cards but on some people made her cards on term 3 we had a new teacher her name was Mrs Sio she is a lovely and a kind teacher to but Mrs Sio does incredibles what incredibles means when you do all of your work and when you help the teacher or clean the shoes and pick the rubbish you get 1 or 2 incredibles tickets.

Mrs Sio is teaching us for term 3 and 4. We also get to play lot’s and lots of games with our new teacher. Mrs Sio and Miss Szymanik are the best teachers in room 6, sometimes we get to do lots of art with Mrs Sio, Mrs Sio is a very funny and fun teacher, will Miss Szymanik is a fun teacher as well.
