Rozaidah Blue Mountain Art

 The Art piece I have chosen is a Blue Snowy Mountain. With big clouds and with small clouds as well, the colors I chose are all kind of blues and also all kind of reds and pinks, The emotions in my art is showing anxiety.

Rozaidah Profile: Edvard Munch

This afternoon for Term 4 inquiry we are learning about a famous painter called Edvard Munch, and he was born in Norway Adalsbruk.

Task Description: for our task today we had to make a profile about a famous painter called Edvard Munch and also our theme for this term is Art Alive.

Rozaidah Cross Country

 Last week on Friday we had Cross Country, in the morning we came into our classrooms and found something weird all of our desk's were moved into the corners and our chairs were put in a shape of a oval. We all sat down on the chairs and Mrs Moala, told us what is going to happen today. at 12:50 PM we all got changed into our house colors and at 1:00 PM we all had to go to field and we all sat down the other classes were there as well. We had a prayer from our Principal and from our house captains, some of the year 7 girls and boys were given bands if they wanted to Fun 2 laps and also, some of the year 8 girls and boys were also given bands if they wanted to run 2 laps, and when it was finally the year 8 girls to run the people who are only running 1 lap had to be at the back of the people who are running 2 laps. After all the lining up Mr Burt Clapped his thing and off we went through the gate and down to the big field after we all came back from the run, we all went back to our home classes and got changed and the bell ranged and we all went home.

Rozaidah Tapa Cloth create task

Task Description: Today for Maths we had to do a create task and the create task was that we had to make our own Tapa cloth and what it represents us.

Rozaidah Taha wairua: Quran verse

Task Description: Today for Te whare tapa wha our theme was Taha wairua and we had to create a Poster that had something to do with Taha Wairua so I had decided to make a Quran Quote, I also added some pictures on the side of the poster.

Rozaidah Reading Scales

Task Description: Today for Maths we are learning on how to read scales we has to write down 3 things we learnt while watching a video, we also had to write down the amount of water from the jug. we are also learning about Measuring Temperature Using a Thermometer.

Rozaidah My Aunty's Wedding

Last week on Wednesday me and my whole family went to my Untie's wedding in Nelson, she is remarrying another Man since she got divorced, My whole family got to the Airport at 3 Pm, it took so long to get to Nelson my parents were asleep and my siblings were sleeping as well, I was the only one that was awake.

we finally arrived to Nelson and their not that much people at the Airport, we went with a Taxi to get all the way to Britannia Heights because that is where my Aunty lives, we got got there after 25 minutes, we knocked on the door of my Aunty's house she came running and opened the door.

She hugged my parents very hard and she kissed me and siblings on the cheeks. we went inside the house she had 3 spare rooms so I had to share my room with my 2 younger sisters, my parents slept by themselves and my older sister and my baby brother slept together, on Thursday it was my Aunty's wedding we had to get everything ready and I was one of the flower girls, we had to get our hair done and we had to wear white dresses it was uncomfortable, my untie wore her dress and she got boutique, my mum did my makeup and my Aunty's makeup as well. at 2 pm it was finally the wedding. My Aunty looked really pretty with her dress on, my mom was crying and my dad was crying as well I had their wedding rings and after 5 minutes they were married we had all kind of yummy food and we came back to Auckland on Friday in the evening and we got home safe and sound it was the best day of my life I was also a leader because I had look after my Aunty's twins and they were girls they are 5 years old.

Task Description: Today for Maths we had to go on Maths Whizz and we had to get 3 or more progressions today I have gotten 3 progressions.

Task Description: This week for math we are learning about building our understanding of decimal. this task was very easy to do and it was lot's of fun as well.

Maths 2020 Term 3

Task Description: This week for math we are learning about military time this task was very tricky but we had help from our teacher we had to be in a group of in my group I had Laolao, Jayah, and Waris.

Rozaidah A world of difference immersion assembly term 3

Today is the first day of term 3, this term our topic is A world of difference, in the morning the whole school had to go to the hall because we had an immersion assembly. Marika said the karakia and Mr Burt told us what we are going to learn this term, Mr Burt said that he liked collecting hats all around the world he got a hat from Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and more other countries, And finally term 1 showed us what there were going to do they are going to look at what other kids in other countries eat, how they come to school, and how they leave school, after team 1 it was team 2's turn team 2 is going to learn countries and the countries places or cities, Team 3 showed us what there we going to do they made a little video and it was called the The amazing race, they had to travel all around the world they also brought back a souvenir from Australia. Team 4 also made a little video and their video was about where all kinds of food comes from, and lucky last was team 5 team 5 made a play about Sina and Eel, the myth is about where the Eels head got beheaded, and that is when Sina buried the eels head and on top of the head a tree grew and it was the first coconut tree in the islands.

Joseph Parker came to school

Today at assembly we had 2 special guests and they were Joseph Parker and Elizabeth Parker, as you all know Joseph Parker is New Zealand professional Boxer and Elizabeth Parker is his sister not his wife. they both came to our school and they were in the hall with the whole school, Joseph Parker came to the front and he played a song on the guitar and he said a few stuff.
