Rozaidah T3Wk6 Conversions

Task Description: This week for Maths we are learning how to do Metric Conversions, A metric system is a system of measurement that succeeded the decimalised system based on the metre introduced in France in the 1790s. The historical development of these systems culminated in the definition of the International System of Units, under the oversight of an international standards body.

Rozaidah Rātā and the Tōtara Tree - Reading, T3, 2020

Task Description: This week for reading we are doing a story called Rātā and the Tōtara Tree, we had to listen to a audio of Rātā and the Tōtara Tree, we also had to watch a video that explains Maori Rituals and ceremonies, There were also 2 texts to read from I read from both of them, we also had to create a Story board, The next thing that we had to do is to Break the text into word groups we also had to record ourselves reading the text fluently and with expression. we also had to find on word group that really stand's up to us and we had to write down 4 sentences using the word group that we had chosen and underline the word group in each sentences.

Rozaidah T3W4 TELLING TIME

Task Description: For math's this week I had fill out the first 6 slides by filling in the missing Digital time, written form and the analog clock by adding the hands, after that I had to create my own 2 slides and I had to write 5 questions on 1 slide and another 5 questions on the other slide.

Rozaidah Te Ika A Maui - Reading, T3, 2020

Task Description, Today the 17th of August We are learning a new Story called Te Ika A Maui, This Task was easy to do and fun as well.

Rozaidah Camp #3

1. If you were to give ideas for the next year 7/8 camp what would you suggest?

I would suggest a challenge and the challenge can be anything like the wipe out show who ever completes the obstacle will be the team that wins.

2. What would you keep?

I would keep the food because it is the best part.

3. What would you stop?

I would stop nothing because everything is fun and awesome.

4. What would you add?

I would add more fun games and also a challenging game as well.

5. Why do we have such events?

To help students gain more confident and come out of their comfort zones and make new friends, and having fun with each other.

Taha Whanau:

Taha Wairua is about who people are as individuals their personal identity. Different people have different beliefs and values which develop over time, through their family.

Rozaidah Captain Reflection

Mrs Tele'a Called all of the 6 classes to come to to the street, and she called all the year 7 captains and they are Sauma, Bradley, Nina, Mohammed, Oalii, and Simon, and this is what I took away of what they said and what they had been up to while the years were away.

• Supporting each other and helping their teams
• Making sure everyone is having a good time and participating in the activities they have done.
• Make sure everyone is having fun.

Now it is the year 8's turn the captains from the 3 teams had to come out and share what they had been doing over the 3 days away from school.

Rozaidah My Aunty's Wedding

Last week on Wednesday me and my whole family went to my Untie's wedding in Nelson, she is remarrying another Man since she got divorced, My whole family got to the Airport at 3 Pm, it took so long to get to Nelson my parents were asleep and my siblings were sleeping as well, I was the only one that was awake.

we finally arrived to Nelson and their not that much people at the Airport, we went with a Taxi to get all the way to Britannia Heights because that is where my Aunty lives, we got got there after 25 minutes, we knocked on the door of my Aunty's house she came running and opened the door.

She hugged my parents very hard and she kissed me and siblings on the cheeks. we went inside the house she had 3 spare rooms so I had to share my room with my 2 younger sisters, my parents slept by themselves and my older sister and my baby brother slept together, on Thursday it was my Aunty's wedding we had to get everything ready and I was one of the flower girls, we had to get our hair done and we had to wear white dresses it was uncomfortable, my untie wore her dress and she got boutique, my mum did my makeup and my Aunty's makeup as well. at 2 pm it was finally the wedding. My Aunty looked really pretty with her dress on, my mom was crying and my dad was crying as well I had their wedding rings and after 5 minutes they were married we had all kind of yummy food and we came back to Auckland on Friday in the evening and we got home safe and sound it was the best day of my life I was also a leader because I had look after my Aunty's twins and they were girls they are 5 years old.
