Rozaidah Maths Whizz week 2

Task Description: Today for Maths Whizz I've gotten 3 progressions it was kind of tricky to get 3 progressions on Maths Whizz.

Task Description: Last week for inquiry we did a task on google drawing we had to use shapes like a circle, lighting bolt, square, a X, moon, star, and a heart, we had to put the shapes on the countries.

Rozaidah Te Whare Tapa Wha

Task Description: Today the the 31st of Friday in morning we had assembly and we came back to class and we worked on Te Whare Tapa Wha, I did Taha Whanau and Taha Hinengaro, This task was very fun to do and it was very easy as well.

Rozaidah Telling time

Task Description: Today for maths my task was to show the time on analog clock, but before I did this I watched a video that gave me some clues of this task, I had to write down what I had learned by watching the video and putting them down in bullet points. I also had to create 10 slides of my own this task was very east to do.

Rozaidah Dragons Eye lake

Task Description: Today for inquiry I have been doing a poster, the poster is about a lake that's called The Dragons Eye lake I have also been leaning about A dragon that protects a land called Croatia.

Once upon a time, there was a dragon named Murin his job was to protect Croatia, one day he said to the people of the land that he must be payed for protecting them and their land, the people said what would you like in return he said each year he would marry the most beautiful ladies in this land, the people had a discussion and the people said, " if we say no he might eat us" so the villagers said OK each year the dragon will marry the most beautiful ladies but the ladies will never get through the wedding because they die. A guy named Aristole came to village with his Pegasus he saw a a beautiful young Maiden he said I must marry this girl a guy came up to Aristole, and said that this girl will be the bride of the dragon, Aristole said NO I must have a Duel with this Dragon, so Aristole went to the dragon and said let's have a duel but before the duel Aristole putted moon dust on his spear, and he threw the spear to the dragon and the dragon was crying because it really hurted. The dragon took out his own eyeballs and one the eyeballs rolled down and it melted, Aristloe has won the duel and he married the maiden and they lived happily ever after The End.

Roziadah Turkish Delight

Today Mrs Stone gave Room 1 A candy called Turkish Delight, Turkish delight or lokum is a family of confections based on a gel of starch and sugar. they are mostly made out of chopped dates, pistachios, hazelnuts or walnuts bound by the gel traditional varieties are often flavored with rosewater, mastic, Bergamot orange, or lemon.

Task Description: Today in the afternoon Mrs Stone had offered to give room 1 A candy made in turkey it is called Turkish Delight.

Rozaidah A world of difference immersion assembly term 3

Today is the first day of term 3, this term our topic is A world of difference, in the morning the whole school had to go to the hall because we had an immersion assembly. Marika said the karakia and Mr Burt told us what we are going to learn this term, Mr Burt said that he liked collecting hats all around the world he got a hat from Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and more other countries, And finally term 1 showed us what there were going to do they are going to look at what other kids in other countries eat, how they come to school, and how they leave school, after team 1 it was team 2's turn team 2 is going to learn countries and the countries places or cities, Team 3 showed us what there we going to do they made a little video and it was called the The amazing race, they had to travel all around the world they also brought back a souvenir from Australia. Team 4 also made a little video and their video was about where all kinds of food comes from, and lucky last was team 5 team 5 made a play about Sina and Eel, the myth is about where the Eels head got beheaded, and that is when Sina buried the eels head and on top of the head a tree grew and it was the first coconut tree in the islands.


Task Description: This term we are learning what other countries do what they eat and we are learning more about the culture as well.
